Differences between fixed type and tilting typemelting furnace

 

The fixed type is vertical and adopts continuous production mode. Its structure is fixed and cannot be tilted. It needs to be operated and overhauled in other ways.

 

Tipping furnace is inclined and adopts intermittent production mode. It can tilt about 90 degrees, which is convenient for operators to observe and adjust the state inside the furnace.

 

Advantages and disadvantages of fixed type aluminum melting furnace:

The regenerative burner system usually consists of several components such as a combustion air fan, a combustion air regulating valve, a directional valve, two burner bodies with thermal storage beds, a smoke exhaust regulating valve, a smoke exhaust fan, etc. It is equipped with ignition and flame detection, electrical control system, and some auxiliary detection and interlocking protection devices to form a complete combustion device. When the regenerative burner is in operation, the two burners alternate in combustion. When burner A burns, high-temperature flue gas is extracted from burner B under the strong action of the exhaust fan. The flue gas is replaced by the heat storage medium in the heat storage bed of burner B, and the temperature is cooled to below 250 ℃ before being discharged; When burner B burns, the cold air passes through the B burner heat storage bed and is preheated (usually at a preheating temperature of over 800 ℃) before entering the furnace for combustion. At the same time, burner A repeats the smoke exhaust and heat storage operation of burner B. Under the automatic control of the electrical program, two directional valves are combined and switched at a certain frequency (30S~200S), so that the two burners are always in a state of alternating heat storage and release, thereby achieving the maximum recovery and utilization of flue gas waste heat. When high-temperature flue gas passes through the thermal storage bed, while completing the heat exchange process, most of the dust in the flue gas also remains. Therefore, as long as the thermal storage medium in the thermal storage bed is regularly replaced, the problem of dirty and corrosive flue gas components can be solved. From the perspective of easy replacement, ceramic alumina balls are the best choice for the thermal storage medium of the regenerative burner used in aluminum melting furnaces.
