1. Heating process
The homogenization furnace first places the aluminum billet inside the furnace and heats it through a heating device. The heating temperature is usually higher than the melting point of the aluminum billet to ensure complete melting of the aluminum billet. The purpose of this step is to achieve a uniform temperature distribution on the aluminum billet, laying the foundation for subsequent homogenization treatment.
2. Mixing process
During heating, the stirring device installed in the furnace stirs the aluminum billet by rotating or vibrating. The purpose of stirring is to make the internal temperature of the aluminum billet more uniform and promote the mutual dissolution of various elements in the aluminum billet. This process ensures that the chemical composition and physical structure inside the aluminum billet meet the homogenization requirements.
3. Cooling process
When the aluminum billet reaches the homogenization requirement, the heating device is turned off, and the aluminum billet is taken out of the furnace and cooled. The cooling speed and method can be adjusted according to specific process requirements to ensure that the aluminum billet solidifies into the desired shape and performance.
